EHD/BT Testing Reimbursement
Compensation for EHD/Bluetongue Testing
Attention 2008 Members:
Missouri Whitetail Breeders and Hunting Ranch Association members please try to test your sick or dead deer during EHD/BT season ( late July thru September). If you are a paid member and you vaccinated your deer twice with the Mis-souri EHD/BT vaccine as directed please draw blood from an EHD/BT sick deer or a spleen sample from a freshly dead deer (within 12 hours). Send the samples to Newport Laboratories for virus isolation and typing. The samples need to be refrigerated and shipped with an ice pack. Missouri Whitetail Breeders and Hunting Ranch Association will reimburse the breeder for the testing cost at Newport Laboratories. To apply for

Reimbursement may be limited to 200 deer. Current MWBHRA members who did not vaccinate their deer should also submit one or two samples of EHD/BT suspect deer to Newport Labs for testing.
